Starting up the game

To begin, simply log in to your account. For Navyfield 1 veterans the differences begin here, but don't be alarmed.

Once logged in you will get to select a captain, you have 6 in total on your account. Then select a nation. What are the differences between the Nations?

This is really for you to find out. But if Navyfield 1 is anything to go by then the nations generally adhere to the the same ship advantages and weaknesses as before (Note: content is subject to change)
As per NF1 the 4 Nations are as follows:

  • KM: Longest range BB's (lower dmg, fast reload), Good CV's (good fighters), Good SS,

  • RN: Strong BB's (high dmg, high def, Average CV's, Average SS,

  • USN: Good BB's (good dmg, reload and range), Excellent CV's (strong fighters), Good SS,

  • IJN Defensive BB's (high angle), Torpedo masters (DD's, CL, CA), Strong Bombing CV's, High dmg SS

Im only comparing the original 4 nations until new ones come along. As this is early in the life of NF2 some details may not be accurate.

Once you select a nation and captain you will enter the shipyard/ dock. Here you can setup your ship, chat with others, enter a matchmaking battle, join a fleet etc...
